How MAT Clinics Work
Medication assisted treatment is a treatment option that is specifically designed to support those experiencing intense withdrawal symptoms. We offer Subutex, suboxone, and methadone at our treatment programs. With medical oversight, these FDA-approved medications are safe for long-term use. We use MAT in combination with case management and counseling services as part of our comprehensive treatment approach.
Initial Induction

As a first step, our expert clinicians evaluate each patient’s medical history and monitor their withdrawal symptoms. Depending on their symptoms and the extent of their cravings, our treatment experts will recommend and administer MAT and ensure that the patient is safe throughout the withdrawal process.
Outpatient Treatment

During the treatment process, our patients will continue to receive medication according to our clinician’s recommendation. In addition, the patient has the opportunity to enroll in both group therapy and one-on-one counseling, which can be highly effective in helping them address the underlying issues surrounding their addiction.
Medical Taper
– Recover –
Throughout the recovery process, it is important for our clinicians to continue evaluating each patient’s progress. If they deem it necessary, the patient may begin to medically taper off of the medication they have been receiving. However, other patients may need to continue using medications throughout treatment. We work with the client to determine their needs.
