What brightens her day: Playing games with her niece and nephew.
Samantha started her career working as an Investigative Research Assistant in the Ohio prison system exploring what services and programs are offered to those incarcerated and how participation in those is related to a reduction in recidivism as well as chances of success upon release. Samantha transitioned into counseling while working at a men’s halfway house providing both sex offender and substance abuse counseling to residents. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from College of Mount St. Joseph and attended University of Cincinnati to complete her Master’s Degree in Criminal Justice.
