Kim received her Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish in 2001 from The Ohio State University, her pride and joy. Go Bucks!!! She had visions of traveling and interpreting but life threw her a curve ball and this never came to fruition. She began working at a local medical clinic in 2002 and saw the need for additional interpreting services among medical personnel. She decided to go back to nursing school and graduated from the College of Mount St. Joseph with her MSN in generalized nursing in 2006. Kim then worked as a registered nurse in labor & delivery for over 8 years. She went on to gain her degree as a family nurse practitioner at The University of Cincinnati in 2013.
Since leaving labor & delivery, Kim has been searching for a position that gives her purpose and fulfillment in life…a position where she can come home feeling satisfied knowing that she had a part in changing someone’s life for the better. This search led her to addiction medicine, and she is ecstatic to be a part of the Brightview team…making a difference every single day.
