Belinda received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Eastern Mennonite University in Harrisonburg, Virginia where she took advantage of the schools’ cross-cultural learning requirement to spend a semester of her undergraduate program gallivanting across East Africa. Following graduation, she spent the next 6 years working as an Admissions Counselor/Assistant Director of Admissions for her alma mater before returning to her hometown to pursue a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Cincinnati. Prior to completing her program, she began working for a residential treatment program for addictive and controlling behaviors such as substance abuse. It was here, working as a Case Manager & Life Coach where she quickly became passionate about this work & would remain for 6 years before transitioning to work for an Outpatient Medication Assisted Treatment program which ultimately led her to BrightView.
Belinda has learned that she’d be nothing without perpetual saving grace and love as she navigates this world imperfectly & has adopted the mission to bear that for others who are tackling their own versions of transformation and recovery.
