First saw the sunrise in: Cincinnati OH
Favorite breakfast food: Hash Brown Potatoes with Cheese
What brightens her day: My husband Paul’s ridiculous sense of humor

Prior to becoming an advanced practice nurse, Amanda had a twelve year nursing career at University Hospital. Beginning this time in the emergency room, and concluded in the surgical-trauma ICU. She completed her Master’s at Xavier University. She realized very early in her professional life that in order to provide the best care possible, each patient needed to tell their unique story. Treating physical illness is just the tip of the iceberg. Her first job as a nurse practitioner was at Greater Cincinnati Pain Management Center, where she felt her best patient encounters were the ones where she got to listen to the patient’s unique experience, and develop a care plan that wasn’t just about prescribing medication, but providing options. At BrightView, each day focuses on giving people the tools to live the best life they can. She says about her new position “I am happy to be a part of a team that listens to each patient, and provides services tailored to specific needs. Living with addiction is extremely difficult, and no one should be ashamed to ask for help.”
